Peter Silvero, MD
Peter R. Silvero, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and specializes in the treatment of shoulder and elbow conditions. Dr. Silvero also provides comprehensive orthopedic care, including sports medicine and total joint replacement.
He graduated from the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed his residency training with the Air Force. He later returned to the University of Texas Health Science Center to complete the prestigious Charles Rockwood Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship.
After a distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force, working in the space program for several years, he completed his medical training and then served as a Special Operations flight surgeon. As an orthopaedic surgeon, he gained considerable experience in sports medicine, total joint replacement and orthopaedic trauma. Throughout his career, he has been deployed to the Middle East, Korea and South America.
